Animation is a class where you learn the very basics of animation.The skills and items learned in this class are recommended for anybody who is interested in a career based on animating or animation design. You will be drawing a few things for this class and writing some things as well. Most of the assignments in this class are done on the computer. Ive had a lot of fun in this class and im going to take the second course next year.
This was my favorite assignment, i had a lot of fun writing this storyboard. This is not the complete storyboard, it is a bit longer than this. Storyboarding is also know as a script. Scripts That are used while filming are more detailed and focus more on dialog. Storyboarding is one of my favorite things ive done in this type of class.
This was my least favorite assignment. This took a lot longer than it should have.
Altho it is just commenting on short animations and openings. I don’t think it was worth the class time it took. The actual short animations and openings themselves are pretty good.
Animation is a great class if you like drawing and if you’re artistic. This class covers all types including stop motion. The class starts sorta slow, but you will jump right into bigger things a bit later. Animation is a great class, you learn a little history of animation, while learning the basics of how animators create the masterpieces (and disasters) that we watch everyday.
