Game Design 

 

This class is all about learning about how to make video games. You learn about all the sprites and objects needed to make the game. I learned that it wasn't as hard to make the games that we did but it was still hard in its own way. It also takes a lot of time and i mean a lot to make the game you are making look good and work properly.   

My favorite game that we had to make was the solar system. This was my favorite one because it was fun making the skins of the planets and learning how to properly arrange them so they didn't look funny. It was also fun learning where to place all the skins and to learn how to make the planets rotate around each other. This games was probably the easiest one to make but also the most fun.                                  

I had trouble figuring out where to put everything and how to set up there movements. The idea of the game wasn't the greatest. To me it was difficult getting everything exactly how they needed to be. I could have put a lot more effort and time into making this game. 

 

This class is a great one to learn how pros and cons of game making. It may be difficult at times but it is still a very fun class to take. You can learn so much about the stuff that goes into making the games themselves. I recommend that other students take this class because it will not only teach them how to make games but also help them get better with a computer even if it is a little bit. Not only do you get to make the games but you also get to play the games you make and the games that your classmates make.
